All over the country, nervous children are preparing to boldly go where they have never gone before, to an alien planet known only as—Kindergarten!

“Planet Kindergarten” follows one brave young explorer as he embarks on a daring adventure on the first day at his new school. From liftoff to splashdown, our young hero learns about the alien planet known as “Kindergarten,” a strange new world that he shares with crewmembers from other galaxies.

While the explorer is well-prepared for his mission, he encounters a few challenges along the way, including a bout of homesickness, but, at the end of the day, safe on his home planet, he can’t wait to head back to the exciting new world of Planet Kindergarten!

Schmitt has been known to arrive at readings of “Planet Kindergarten” wearing a full space suit. The Back to School event at Bank of Books will also feature space-themed activities.

Bank of Books Malibu is located at 29169 Heathercliff Road, at the intersection of Heathercliff and Pacific Coast Highway. For further information about this event, call the store at (310) 457-5699.
