Free Medicinal Plant Walk June 22 at Santa Monica Mountains Visitor Center

Mountains Interagency Visitor Center.
CALABASAS, CAProfessor Jim Adams, Ph.D, of the USC School of Pharmacy, will lead a walk to share the medicinal uses of California plants on Sunday, June 22 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Santa Monica Mountains Interagency Visitor Center in Calabasas.
Adams, trained in Chumash healing, presents traditional recipes for making healing medicines. Co-author of Healing with Medicinal Plants of the West, Adams will be available to sign his book after the program.
