As part of the continuing Annex Series: Conversations on Film and Culture, the Vidiots Foundation and KCRW present an evening with Pulitzer Prize winning writer and director David Mamet, and Elvis Mitchell, film critic and host of KCRW's The Treatment, on Saturday, June 7 at 7 p.m.
David Mamet is considered by many to be America's greatest living playwright. He received the Pulitzer Prize for Glengarry Glen Ross, as well as Oscar nominations for writing The Verdict and Wag the Dog. Elvis Mitchell is one of the most recognizable film critics in America and is curator of LACMA's film series, Film Independent at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
