“Hub Of Topanga” Non-profit Networking Group, May 14

The Topanga Town Council invites Topanga’s non-profit organizations to the first “Meet and Greet” event held by the Hub of Topanga, a newly formed networking group, on Wednesday, May 14, 7– 9 p.m. at the Community House.

The meeting's purpose is for all Topanga Non-profit organizations to get to know each other and to better understand that they may have common goals and yearly agendas. Placing all yearly agendas on a master calendar will help minimize conflicts in scheduling events, volunteer solicitations and fundraising efforts will help pull the Topanga together as a community of mutually supportive organizations.

Up to four representatives from each of Topanga's non-profit organizations may attend and is asked to prepare a maximum five-minute overview of the organization's mission and goals, including a brief presentation of their agenda for special events and community involvement through the end of 2015.

This information will allow organizations to identify duplicate dates and negotiate alternatives. All dates will immediately be placed on the OneTopanga.com master calendar.

Attendees are asked to carpool and R.S.V.P. to: contact@topangatowncoucil.org. For more information or questions contact Bruce Royer, (310) 738-9704.
