Topanga April Library Events

 

Fridays at 4 p.m.—UMIGO—It’s Mathematical! Every week we will explore mathematical concepts through games and activities. Ages 5-8.

Thursday, April 10 at 3:30 p.m.—Art for Teens: Tile Coasters. Create a colorful and personalized coaster for yourself or as a gift to others! All materials will be provided. Ages 12-18.

Saturday, April 12, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.— Fiction Books sale. Friends of the Topanga Library “Books, Books, Books” fiction sale in honor of National Library Week. Two books for $1. Other books, $1 unless otherwise marked, CDs $1, DVDs $2, audiobooks $2. Cash only, exact change.

Tuesday, April 15 at 4 p.m.—African Safari. A wildlife adventure! Learn about several animals native to Africa and see them in person! Presented by The Wildlife Company. Open to all ages.

Tuesday, April 15 at 7 p.m.—Book Club. Join us for a lively discussion of “The Infatuations” by Javier Marias. Visit the Library to pick up a copy of the book before we meet. All adults welcome.

Thursday, April 17 at 4 p.m.—Kids Book Club. Join us as we discuss “Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library” by Chris Grabenstein, have a snack and create some art! Ages 9-12. Parents: Refreshments will be provided. A list of ingredients will be available at the program.

Thursday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m.—WordPress Meetup. All levels of users are invited to attend our monthly meetings to share, collaborate and discuss all things WordPress blogging.

Saturday, April 19 at 3:30 p.m.—Teen Book Club. We will be discussing “The Last Dragonslayer” by Jasper Fforde. Copies of the book will be available for checkout at the Library. Ages 13-18.
