Chamber’s 65th Annual Awards, April 5

 

Every year the Topanga Chamber of Commerce honors citizens and businesses that have made outstanding contributions to the community throughout the year.

This year’s 65th dinner and awards will celebrate at the Community House with hors d’oeuvres, complimentary champagne, dinner, dessert and wine.

Topping the list of honorees is Citizen of the Year, Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky, who will term out at the end of this year (zev.lacounty.gov).

The Chamber also salutes Topanga Association for a Scenic Community (TASC) as the Non-Profit Business of the Year (www.tasc4topanga.org)

The youngest but not least is eight-year-old Lucy Babcock’s enterprise, Lucy’s Bake Shop, named as Youth Business of the Year (lucysbakeshop.com).

Tickets are available at topangachamber.org, Members, $50 / Non-members, $60. No tickets will be issued or sold at the door. Guests’ names will be on a list at the door.
