Fundraiser for Sheila Kuehl, March 16

A private fundraising brunch is planned at the historic Mountain Mermaid on Sunday, March 16, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., to support Sheila Kuehl’s run for L.A. County Third District Supervisor, replacing Zev Yaroslavsky who will term out this year.

The event will be hosted by Meredith Baxter and Nancy Locke; Bill Buerge and Gail McTune; Pat and John MacNeil; Roger Pugliese; and Dorothy Reik. Sponsors are Hope Edelman and Wendie Malick. Ellen Geer and Melora Marshall will present their entertaining musical performance.

Sen. Fran Pavley will be the featured guest speaker.

The invitation reads: “Kuehl’s 14 years in the California Senate and Assembly give her a vast understanding of government and the issues Supervisors face. She represents the innovative, inclusive and substantive leadership we need in our elected officials.”

Ticket categories (per person) are: Generous! $50 (minimum amount required to attend); Awesome! $100; Incredible! $250; Amazing! $500; OMG! $1000; I’m All In! $1500.

Donations are welcome whether or not you attend.
