Thank You from 2013 Chamber President

Dear Editor,

Congratulations to everyone who worked on this project [Roadside Committee to stop herbicide spraying on Topanga Canyon Blvd.] and further congratulations for coming up with a solution that works for everyone. Thank you for working together to protect and preserve the greatest place on earth.

I also want to thank the Topanga Creek Watershed Committee for the lovely comments that Gail McDonald-Tune delivered on your behalf during the last Chamber breakfast I presided over as its president. It has been a pleasure working with you all in preserving the health and welfare of our Canyon home, which in turn serves the vitality of all of our businesses be they storefronts, home-based, non-profits or individuals. I'm proud of what we have been able to accomplish in the last two years.

I am also pleased that the Chamber board agreed to accept my proposal to formalize the Chamber's commitment to our community by creating a Community Liaison board position, and further grateful that they confirmed my holding that position at least through the next year. I am thankful to have the opportunity to further serve our Chamber members and the Topanga community at large in this way. It is an amazing community and I hold everyone who serves it in great esteem.

Once again, thank you so much for your support and your recognition. It means more than you can possibly know. Gail's words will always be remembered, appreciated and held close to my heart.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all. God bless us everyone.
