Water Pollution at Topanga Beach Lagoon

Dear Editor:

I was surprised to see children frolicking in the Topanga Beach lagoon today, especially after reading Zev's article on the bacterial contamination contained there.

I let the parents know about the contamination, and they quickly removed their children from the contaminated lagoon.

I wondered why there was no sign posted when fecal bacteria was found to be present in the lagoon.

Maybe Zev Yaroslavsky should be concerned about this, as he is the county supervisor?
