Topanga Days Turns 40!

Look who’s turning 40!

Yes it’s that year; and it’s a once-in-a-lifetime event. Hitting 40 is a milestone that we can all be proud of achieving.

It means you can now claim maturity, you can look professionally poised and now you can say you are successful; successful for having made it through your twisting twenties and turbulent thirties.

Of course, I don’t have to say it, because, as a Topangan, it’s in your blood and it’s the one time in the year you can’t wait for it to arrive.

You’re already dancing for Topanga Days. And yes, Topanga Days is turning 40 this year!

The best part of the weekend, other than the entertainment, is the opportunity to shed that maturity and professional poise and express your inner rebel who wants to relive for a moment the excitement of being center stage, performing your best for the whole Canyon in the Topanga Memorial Day Parade! Celebrating the freedoms afforded to us by the service members who gave their “last full measure of devotion,” the parade is an essential Canyon celebration that puts some pomp into the final day of the festival.

To help put this year’s parade forward I need some help. We need a theme. I need suggestions to guide our celebration.
