Thank You, Dick Sherman

Dear Editor:

The Topanga Historical Society wants to thank Dick Sherman for being our program presenter on Jan. 16 for "Showdown at Fork Tongue Canyon." Dick had been sick for several weeks prior to the event and even though he was not feeling well he pulled through and rewarded everyone who came out on that clear, cold night with a great retelling of a unique and wonderful time in the Canyon. While we always appreciate those who agree to speak at our quarterly meetings, they don't usually leave their sick bed to do so. This was above and beyond the call and we are extremely grateful to him for going the extra mile.
