TCC Youth Soccer League Skills Assessment, February 2

 

FILE PHOTO The Topanga Community Club spring youth soccer will hold tryouts on Saturday, February 2 for kids from age 3-14 at the Topanga Community House.

The Spring session of Topanga Community Club youth soccer is currently taking registrations for children ages 3 to 14.  The emphasis of our league is on fun, fair play and fundamentals with little emphasis on competition (or parents yelling at their kids).

We’re an ideal experience for beginners as well as for players who may have played some organized youth soccer.  Soccer skill assessment day is Saturday, February 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (not required for 3 and 4 year olds).

This league is also an opportunity to play in our own community on the ball field at the Topanga Community House.  Players are placed in the following age divisions:  3 and 4; 5 and 6; 7 and 8; 9 to 11 and 12 to 14. 

Teams practice once weekly on various week days and a thirteen week game season will begin on Saturday March 2 running through to June 1.  Practices start the third week in February.

Forms may also be picked up and dropped off at the local Surf Shop next to the Topanga General Store. 

Costs are $125 per player for TCC members or $175 for first child including a TCC family membership through the end of the calendar year and $125 for each additional child.  Come and join in on the fun!
