Snow Night and Potluck, Saturday, Dec. 15 at Pine Tree Circle

Snow Night has become a cherished Canyon tradition. A night when snow is trucked into the Pine Tree Circle parking lot and Topanga kids, young and old, rejoice in winter holiday play. A community potluck and warm cider make this a down home experience which includes Christmas carols, music from the Topanga Brass Band, a visit from Santa, and a chance to get last minute shopping done. Shop local. Eat local. Play local.

Bundle up and bring your kids, sleds and flying saucers or cardboard boxes to slide down the hill on Snow Night, Saturday, Dec. 15 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Leslie Carlson wants to remind everyone that this is a potluck event. They will provide the snow, plates and plastic ware, but if you really want to eat, bring along your favorite holiday dish — enough for yourself and extra to share — and tell your friends to do the same.

Stores will be open late and entertainment includes Christmas carols, the Topanga Brass Band and a visit from Santa.
