Friends of Woodland Hills Library Book Sale

The Friends of Woodland Hills Library are holding a book sale, Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1.

The Friends donate their time to help provide funds to compensate for budget shortfalls. Hardcover books start at $1; paperbacks are $.50; videos and DVDs are $.10 each when you buy 10. Every child is invited to choose his or her own book, which is free.

“Our goal is to raise money and to see these items get a good home,” says Bette Caraway, president of the Friends. “At the end of the sale, we give most of the leftover books to other libraries or to other volunteer organizations. All proceeds go to buy books and supplies for the library.”
