The Will Rogers Ranch Foundation and a local art organization are offering a fine way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

In celebration of Will Rogers’ birthday, Allied Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains & Seashore will present an art exhibit of paintings of the local mountains and beaches that Rogers enjoyed and helped to preserve. The art exhibit will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday Nov. 4, just outside the park Visitor’s Center next to the ranch house.

In addition to enjoying art, visitors can hike the trails offering panoramic views of Los Angeles and the Pacific or take a ranch house tour. The park is located at 1501 Will Rogers Park Road, Pacific Palisades, CA 90272, off Sunset Blvd. For park information call (310) 454-8212.

A percentage of all proceeds from art sales will be donated to Will Rogers State Historic Park for ongoing preservation of this beautiful site.
