Proposition Party Sunday, October 28 3-6 p.m.
Non-Partisan Event Scheduled to Educate Voters in Time for the November 6 Election.
A forum for voters to learn about each of the Propositions on the November 6 ballot will be sponsored by Temple Kol Tikvah on Sunday, October 28 from 3 6 p.m. in the Temples social hall, 20400 Ventura Blvd., Woodland Hills, CA.
The non-partisan, non-religious event is an opportunity for voters to learn both the pro and con positions on all state Propositions and local measures.
With more than 10 Propositions and six local candidates, attendees will be able to interact with representatives from each of the propositions, hear speakers, meet local candidates running for office and educate themselves in time for the November election. The event is free and open to the entire community.
The California Propositions are extremely important but most of us dont really understand them well enough to be educated voters, said Cynthia Litt Deculus, event chairperson, This event is a fun, simple way for the community to learn about the Propositions and Measures directly from their sponsors. This experience will empower us to make confident decisions on Election Day.
Families with children are welcome. There will be activities for kids, light refreshments and free parking. For more information email: TKTPropparty@yahoo.com or call (818) 348-0670, ext 214.
