“Animal Voices,” The Nature of Wildworks Fundraiser, Oct. 7

Features Animal Communicator Lydia Hiby

Animals talk to us in many ways and this Nature of Wildworks fundraiser provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for guests to practice conversing with Wildworks’ animal ambassadors on October 7, with guidance from animal-communicator Lydia Hiby.

Guests are encouraged to bring a photo of their pet to enter the raffle to win a one-on-one talk with Hiby about your pet. Other activities include a silent auction; a “Click and Treat” training demonstration and a free clicker to take home; and gifts and stocking stuffers to buy for friends and family.

Another highlight of the evening is mingling with the pets and wildlife ambassadors of Topanga’s own wild animal sanctuary and meeting its founder, Mollie Hogan.

Hiby has been practicing since 1984, training under the tutelage of animal communicator Beatrice Lydecker, who encouraged her and helped develop her inherent skill of interpreting what animals want to tell their humans. Hiby has been practicing worldwide ever since. For more information: lydiahiby.com; or (818) 244-0091.

Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served
from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., with Hiby’s lecture at 5 p.m. The event is at a private home. R.S.V.P by Sept. 23.
