“Shaka” to All at Shaka Shack

As a long time fan of Kathie Gibboney, I was pleased to see Pamela Leeds’ entertaining article about Kathie’s family restaurant, Shaka Shack (see “Lunching at Shaka Shack – A Touch of Aloha in Sunny SoCal,” Topanga Messenger, Vol 36 No 17 [Aug. 23, 2012]).. After reading about the setbacks of opening up a new business, it was a pleasure to see the family and the head chef working together to turn out mouth-watering meals in a colorful setting.

May they long prosper.
