Over coffee and cookies Greenleaf Gail and her pals were having a good visit. Suddenly the lights flickered and went out for a few minutes. The conversation switched from the frivolous to the serious, with questions about how to communicate without electricity. Text messaging is the surest way to get through, as it takes little power and uses a different bandwave than conversations.  Now if I can only remember that.
