Paint-Out at Will rogers State Historic Park

After a successful 2011 art show here celebrating Will Rogers' birthday, new and experienced artists working in any media are cordially invited to discover new sites or revisit the recently renovated ranch house, the stables, eucalyptus-lined roads, the ocean views from the upper trails and the polo field. Capture the natural beauty in this Santa Monica Mountain area. This Paint-Out is sponsored by Allied Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore.

Directions: take PCH and turn onto Sunset Blvd., five miles inland to entrance sign on left side of road. Or, take San Diego Fwy, west on Sunset to park entrance.

Meet in parking area at 9:30 a.m., look for the person with a red flag near the restroom. Stay until early afternoon. Entrance fee.
