R.I.P. Homer: 1997 – 2012

 

PHOTO COURTESY OF EMMA SUTTON Homer was a constant and welcome presence at the Topanga Creek Shopping Center for many years.

So many knew and loved Homey. Coming to work with his Mummy every day, he became famous for carrying my wallet, begging for food from the day laborers and visiting the Post Office with my packages in his mouth.

Homer kept going for his Mummy as long as he could but now his job is done here and he wanted to say that he will miss all. Most of all, he will miss his wonderful life in the Canyon.

I love you my baby.
