Rainfall Totals: Dry Winter, Wet Spring

After an unusually wet autumn, we had an unusually dry winter, only to be followed by a wetter-than-average spring. It is looking unlikely that we will get enough of the wet stuff to reach our average by the end of the season on June 30, 2012. As of April 27th, we've had 16.22 inches of rain in Fernwood, well below the 20.51 inches that is average for this date. Usually we do not see much rain this late in the season, but this year has been anything but usual.
