Elisabeth Howard Wins Ms. Senior Long Beach Title

Topangans Elisabeth Howard and husband Geoffrey Forward celebrate her win of the Ms. Senior Long Beach title on March 31, in the Ms. Senior America Pageant in Long Beach. She won Top Talent category for her performance of Sempre Libera from the opera, La Traviata, and Overall Winner to become Queen. Contestants must be over 60, and are judged on Interview, Philosophy of Life, Modeling and Talent. 
She will move on to compete in the Ms. Senior California State competition on August 25 at the Rose Theater in Westminster CA. The first-place winner goes on to compete in Atlantic City, NJ, in the Nationals to become Ms. Senior America. Last year, Howard won Top Talent and Overall Winner "Queen" in the Ms. Conejo Valley competition.
She is a graduate of the Juilliard School, is on the faculty of Pepperdine University and teaches voice at her studio in Topanga Canyon.
