TOPANGA COMMUNITY CLUB

The Topanga Community Club will meet at the Community House, 1440 N Topanga Canyon Blvd on Thursday, April 10 at 7pm. Prospective members and guests are always welcome.

TOPANGA TOWN COUNCIL

The Topanga Town Council will meet at 6pm on Thursday, April 10 at the Topanga Library Community Room. All are invited. For more info go to www.topangatowncouncil.org.

CANDIDATES FORUM - 33RD CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT

The Pacific Palisades Democratic Club will present a forum for the 33rd Congressional District to succeed Henry Waxman on Sunday, April 13 from 2 - 4pm at the Pacific Palisades Woman's Club, 902 Haverford Avenue, Pacific Palisades. The forum will feature former LA City Councilmember Wendy Greuel, State Senator Ted Lieu & author/policy analyst/radio host Matt Miller & others. Admission & parking are free, donations welcome, www.palisadesdemclub.org.

PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATS OF THE SMM

The Progressive Democrats of the Santa Monica Mountains will convene upstairs at Abuelitas Mexican Restaurant, 137 S. Topanga Canyon Blvd at 7:30pm on Tuesday, April 15. All interested parties are welcome. For further info go to www.pdsmm.org.

HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The Topanga Historical Society will hold a pot-luck and program on Wednesday, April 16 at the Community House, 1440 N Topanga Canyon Blvd. Bring your own utensils and a dish to share. Potluck begins at 7pm. The program will commence at 8.

TOPANGA PEACE ALLIANCE

The Topanga Peace Alliance is scheduled to meet on Monday, April 21. For confirmation, time and place, contact debbieinla@outlook.com.

TOPANGA EMERGENCY & RESPONSE DRILL

All Topangans are asked to participate in a Topanga Emergency Drill to be conducted by the LA Co Fire Dept & other county agencies & emergency responders on Saturday, April 26. T-CEP will conduct an internal drill in conjunction with this exercise. The Town Council will have an Access Card booth at Topanga Seed & Feed. You should receive details on how to participate in this activity by mail this month.

LA CO BOARD OF SUPERVISORS DEBATE

Candidates for the LA Co Supervisorial District 3 will debate environmental & other issues on Saturday, April 26 from 6 - 7pm at the Westside Jewish Community Center, 5870 w Olympic Blvd, LA. Doors open at 5:30pm, seating & free parking are limited. Reception follows from 7 - 8pm. Email:mnemick@hotmail.com.
