All ads include click through to larger ad image OR a website url link. Section sponsorship ads are available on a first-come-first-served basis. All other ads rotate with additional ads purchased for like position. Exclusive positioning can be requested at double the standard price.

PRODUCTION CHARGES:
Layout & computer time $30 per hour; $12 per photo, logo or grayscale art. One-time set-up fee charged for new ads based on size. All display accounts are due and payable within 30 days. Interest charges will be applied to past due balances at the rate of 1.5% per month. All new advertisers (or change of ownership) are required to prepay advertising until credit with the newspaper has been established. Payment must be by check or cash - credit cards are not accepted. Classified ads must be prepaid.
TECHNICAL DETAILS:
Ad files may be submitted on floppy disk, on CD or by e-mail to . Please be sure to include a phone number in case of problems. We can receive files in the following formats: PDF and Photoshop (jpg or tif). In order to insure accuracy, all ad copy must be typed or printed, and will not be accepted verbally. Ad copy submitted after deadline (for print edition) may be subject to a $25 late charge.
Web ready ads require a minimum of 72dpi and 300 pixels(px) wide to reproduce appropriately in the newspaper. They should be provided in RGB Jpeg(JPG), GIF format. Your ad will include a link either to a website of your choice or a link to a larger ad. If you request a link to a larger ad you may provide the same ad or another web ready ad at a maximum of 800px wide x 800. Smaller is ok and 800x500px is recommended. If you are choosing to have your ad link to your website then a larger ad will not be used.
GUIDELINES:
The Messenger requires all persons submitting material, both advertising and editorial, to clear any applicable copyrights before submission and we reserve the right to refuse any ad.
